Hydraulic pumps are used like sources of power for many dynamic machines. Hydraulic pumps are able of pushing large amounts of oil through hydraulic cylinders or hydraulic motors, transforming mechanical power into hydraulic energy. The hydraulic pumps can be hydrostatic or hydrodynamic and they are most used in hydraulic drive systems.
The pump produces flow with a sufficient amount оf power to overcome pressure induced by the load at the pump outlet. When a hydraulic pump works, it creates a vacuum at the pump inlet, which forces liquid from the reservoir into the inlet line to the pump and by mechanical action transport this liquid to the pump outlet and forces it into the hydraulic system.
There are different types of Hydraulic pumps, like external gear pump, internal gear pump, rotary vane pump, also swash plate piston pump, radial pump, hand pump and many others.
