2 Stroke Engine vs 4 Stroke Engine
I’m pretty sure, you’ve heard this debate many times, over and over again about which engine is better, the two-stroke or the four-stroke.
So what is the difference between a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke engine?
What Is The Difference Between 2 Stroke Engine vs 4 Stroke Engine?!
The 2 stroke engine is a type of internal combustion engine which completes a power cycle with two strokes (up and down movements) of the piston during only one crankshaft revolution. While the 4 stroke engine requires four strokes of the piston to complete a power cycle.
Here are some pros and cons about the two engines.
Pros: Simple design, more powerful.
Cons: Less fuel efficiency, more pollution, improper combustion.
Pros: More torque, more fuel efficiency, less pollution, more durability.
Cons: Complicated design, less powerful, expensive.
