Automotive air conditioning lately has become something universal in the automotive industry as every new car nowadays is equipped with it. However, since its existence not many things have changed regarding its working principles.
Basically, there are 3 main parts that the system consists of: condenser, compressor and evaporator.
The condenser is the part that changes the high-pressure refrigerant vapor to liquid. Furthermore, the liquid flows into the receiver dryer which dries and stores the liquid refrigerant. When the refrigerant leaver the dryer it reaches the valve that removes pressure from the liquid.
That way it expands and becomes refrigerant vapor in the evaporator. Check out the whole process in the video below!
