Most people know Nikola Tesla as the father of alternating current, the eccentric and brilliant man that changed the world. He discovered the form of electricity that supplies power to almost every business and all homes. But, Tesla wasn’t just a person who got famous because of one discovery or invention.
All told, he held 272 patents in 25 countries. And you may think that all of these invention would be held in the part of electrical engineering, as something most dearest to his heart. But in 1913, Tesla received a patent for something that has come to be known as the Tesla engine.
