Ball bearings are little tools with a thousand uses. They are those familiar pieces that use balls to maintain the separation between the bearing races and can be used in various applications. The first modern ball bearing design was developed in 1974 and after a while, in 1869, they started going into bicycles as well.
But be that as it may, ball bearings that we’re used to seeing are made of metal. However, it’s not unknown that they can be made of different materials such as wood.
