What you gonna see in the video below is a F4 Phantom Jet hitting into a reinforced concrete barrier wall at an impressive 500 mp/h. This experiment happened at the Sandia National Laboratories. The aircraft was accelerated on a 600m (2000ft) long two-rail rocket sled until a constant velocity of 215 m/sec (480mph) was reached.

What Happens When a F-4 Phantom Jet Aircraft Hit a Concrete Wall At 500 mp/h?

The whole point of this crash test was to test the strength of a concrete wall that was built to withstand a nuclear blast, by crashing into it at 500 mp/h. A high rate FPS camera is used to watch the plane literally turn into dust.
