A horse treadmill is what this anonymous Russian uses it to power a log splitter. The idea is brilliant, although, it’s not a new one. Back in the late 19th century, the horse treadmill, that was also called the “endless floor”, was seen as a high-tech invention that saves a lot of power.
What’s even more to it is that you one put the horse treadmill to any number of uses. Driving a flour mill, powering a water pump and even generating electricity for light is among the many applications.
