Some next-generations tech is finally revealed as Toyota slowly renews its fleet with cars that were built around TNGA ( Toyota New Global Architecture). This is Toyota’s modular platform that was unveiled in 2015 and now, we’re checking out at some dramatically improve in performance in efficiency regarding this brand.
One of the most significant changes for Toyota’s buyers will be the upgrade of transmissions. Toyota drivers will enjoy in the 8- and 10-speed automatic transmissions which will replace the old ones. Engineers also focus on responsiveness and refinement. This is achieved by high-performance compact torque convertor and widened gears. That will surely broaden the gear lockup range.
Of course, Toyota is a company that will never forget about renewing the powertrain lineup. According to this automaker, it will have introduced 17 new specifications by the end of 2021 which will be based on nine engines.
Fans of hybrid system also have something to look forward to as well. The system called Multistage THS-II (Toyota Hybrid System II) will probably be seen on some upcoming models. We’ll just have to wait and see!
