While some people are good at getting brilliant ideas, manufacturing and building, others are good at finding loopholes and mistakes with given designs. In this case, the infamous Tesla Motor. Of course, this isn’t the first time when someone hacked a motor and it’s not even the first time hacking the Tesla S motor but, the video below offers quite interesting insights regarding the engine of the car.
Michal Elias, A YouTuber, has managed to replace the original Tesla motor controller and sip the motor nevertheless. More precisely, he made it put over 300kW at almost 600Nm. He did this thanks to the UMC Drive motor controller he possess, which is universal enough to run with various inverters including Toyota Prius, Chevrolet Volt and in this case, Tesla.
