Uranium P2 is a naturally-occurring element and you can find traces of it almost everywhere, but it’s naturally concentrated though mining. But finding it and making a nuclear fuel of it are two very different things.
Uranium P2 – How Is Uranium Ore Made Into Nuclear Fuel?
One fuel bundle of uranium contains as much as energy as 71 thousand gallons of oil. However, uranium is not that easy to obtain. You can’t just extract it from the rock that resides in and use it as a fuel.
To get it, you must chemically separate it and process it afterward. That is if you want to make it a usable fuel for a nuclear reactor.
